AXYZ INFINITE – modular CNC router

AXYZ INFINITE is a modular CNC router family for production that requires a machine tailored to workpiece size, thickness and machining operations. Configuration goes beyond table size: gantry clearance, spindle, number of processing heads and additional tools can be selected for the task. Working area to suit the part The 2000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000 and 10000 series have working widths of 710, 1,524, 1,840, 2,159, 2,616 and 3,251 mm respectively. The manufacturer offers configurable lengths up to 15,240 mm. Length options start at 1,219 mm for the 2000 and 4000 series and at 3,048 mm for the remaining series. These are family-wide configuration ranges, not the dimensions of one standard machine. Tools and materials INFINITE can be equipped with routing spindles, knives or drilling equipment. Manufacturer application examples include acrylic, cast aluminium plate, high-pressure laminate and fibre cement. Each material requires suitable tooling, workholding, chip or dust extraction and machining parameters. One configuration is not automatically suitable for all these materials. Workholding and control The standard aluminium vacuum table is divided into zones so that hold-down can be concentrated beneath the workpiece. The machine uses the AXYZ A2MC controller. Gantry clearance options of 150–455 mm are selected for the task; usable workpiece thickness also depends on the tool and workholding arrangement. What to specify before choosing Provide the largest workpiece dimensions, materials, required operations and intended workflow. These help determine table size, spindle and head selection, and optional equipment. Twin-head configurations and arrangements for alternating between work zones should be assessed for the particular job; they are not included in every INFINITE package.
