This depends on the model, ink formulation and manufacturer's requirements. Before changing ink, check compatibility, maintenance requirements and warranty terms. A different ink can affect colour, drying or adhesion. Provide the model and details of the current and proposed inks; the supplier's name alone does not establish compatibility.
